Alternative Building Systems
Stepping Stone Homes Our kit homes began as a stepping stone for
everything else I have ventured into. Without much
advertising and very little effort put into the actual retail business
aspects and the sudden drop in
housing coupled with the credit crunch, here I am. I live in a modified
version of a 4000 sf kit home
that was built with a model home in mind. The kit formed engineered
house allowed me to have the walls up and the roof in place
within a week. When the wind blows at the most recent 75 mph, this place
stands
undaunted by the weather. I am certain these kits will withstand
hurricane
winds as it is built with that in mind. The kits meet all requirements
of all
building codes nationwide and our warranty demands the foundation
concrete
work be performed with the same codes in mind.
We expect to upgrade many of the ideas for the kit walls
to be lighter and even more efficient so as to allow easier
handling and shipping. The demand for other home kits
offered on the market proves that this is the next
wave of the housing market. We will gain ground
